Ceramite quality CSA with steel fibre, precast and prefired.
Problem:
Previous burner designs were made from stainless steel and
silicon carbide tiles. The materials could not withstand
the thermal shock during shut down.
Conditions:
Ceramite CSA provides a single monolithic burner with no steel
sections, what so ever. The burner is able to with stand
temperature thermal shock whereby the temperature of the
burner inceases at shut down from 750 to 1250 deg °C
and then reduces to ambient..
Installations:
In August 2003, completed a four-year cycle with out visible
wear. Thereafter 300 burners where ordered.
