Furnace door/protection
shields are exposed tough conditions such as high temperature, radiation
heat, metal spills and thermal shock.
Ceramite is a high strength material with a hard
and smooth surface, giving non-sticky conditions for metal spills
and sparks. This gives reduced amounts of build-ups and facilitates
the maintenance of the furnace door. Due to the excellent thermal
shock resistance of Ceramite, the overall service time has also proven
to increase significantly.
Ceramite typically replaces materials like special
steel and standard refractory materials.
Furnace doors and protection shields lined with
Ceramite have shown good performance in industries like Ferrosilicon
and Silicon.
